Ever wondered what happens when your parts arrive at Jet-Hot? This gallery will give you a fly-over of our coating and finishing process. Rest assured, from beginning to end we treat your parts like they were going on one of our project cars or bikes.

RECEIVING :: Kathy is checking these parts for substrate issues, shipping damage and compatibility. After the initial review, parts are photographed and scribed with a unique customer identification number.
CLEANING :: Next we clean your parts and prep them for coating. In this photo Brenda monitors the bath we use for commercial parts. Aftermarket parts are sent through a degreasing process to remove all oil and grease residue from the surfaces of the part.
SURFACE PREPARATION :: We grit-blast your parts using a virgin aluminum oxide to remove any surface corrosion, rust or oxidation. The parts are now ready for the coating application.
COATING :: Parts are coated on the inside (depending on application, they may be flow-coated) then coated twice on the exterior.
CURE COATING :: Using electronically-controlled ovens, the coating is cured onto the part by heating it to a specific temperature.
INSPECTION :: Orlando is inspecting the parts to ensure the coating application is free of any defects that may have occurred during the coating application.
POLISHING :: Parts are sent to the polishing room where Mike and his team place them into vibratory machines for the classic Jet–Hot shiny polished finish. If the part is receiving a colored topcoat, it is lightly blasted to prepare the base coat, then coated in the respective color coating, followed by an additional cure.
PACKAGING :: All parts are checked against the photograph, sales order and the customer identification number scribed on the parts when they arrived at the facility. Shiny parts are hand-polished.
SHIPPING :: Matt meticulously wraps the freshly coated parts in packing foam, then places the parts in the box with the matching customer ID number. All shipping and coating care information is placed with the parts. Customers can come to our facility to pick up their parts or have them shipped to their specified destination.
