Jet-Hot customers span a wide range of interests – classic cars, hot-rods, streetbikes, off-road, boating, tractor, atv, utv and more. But they all have a common interest – getting the most out of their parts.
Our “Three P’s of Coating” listed below provides a simple outline that explains how Jet-Hot helps your parts perform better and last longer while maintaining a showroom finish.
Over the past three decades, Jet-Hot has earned a reputation among car and motorcycle fans as the go-to company for engine and drivetrain coatings. It’s no coincidence that it’s common to hear our name used as a verb: “You need to get those headers Jet-Hotted.”
It’s hard to say exactly when it started. Perhaps it was at a drag strip or road course. Maybe it was at a motorcycle rally or a boat race. Or it could have been late one night in a garage when, after two hours of struggling, the headers finally broke free on an old project car. But someone said it first: ”You need to get those headers Jet-Hotted.”
You will need to remove any chrome on your parts. We cannot remove or apply coatings over chrome.
Want the most out of your parts? When it comes to performance, every bit counts. Our high-performance coatings offer multiple benefits to your parts. Including, reduction in under-hood temperatures, improved thermal efficiency and uniform temperatures, all of which can lead to an increase in horsepower.
We all want our new parts to last forever, but we know that doesn’t happen. Jet-Hot coatings can do the next best thing by dramatically extending the life of your parts and neighboring components. By preventing thermal oxidation with coatings that can withstand up to 2500°F (Jet-Hot Extreme 2500 series), your parts will last much longer. So much longer in fact, that we back every coating with our Lifetime Warranty.
Let’s face it; you want your parts to perform well AND look good. Well, you’re in luck. Here at Jet-Hot, we understand the value of aesthetics. Which is why we have over 80 colors, and the option to add custom graphics to any part. Our polish not only provides unbeatable appearance but also allows for easier cleaning!
MORE THAN JUST HEADERS.
Our coatings can be used in a wide range of aftermarket environments, including:
- Exhaust Systems
- Piston Skirts
- Oil pans and valve covers
- Crank shafts
- Motorcycle pipes and tanks
- Boat engine parts
- Tractor pipes
- And much more!
In fact Jet-Hot can be used on almost any metal surface (cast or ductile iron, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, inconel, and titanium) that encounters heat and friction. Increase the life and performance of your parts by using the original Jet-Hot.
EVALUATING YOUR NEEDS
At Jet-Hot, we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to our customers’ needs. We want to know what you’re coating and how the part will be used. Are you interested in aesthetics? Heat management? Corrosion issues? And are you interested in a specific finish or color? We want to make sure you get the finish you need. That’s why we start with a conversation.
There are three factors that determine the cost of your coating:
- The size of the part
- The use of the coating (to determine coating type)
- The shipping costs
We invite you to talk to a Jet-Hot representative for specific pricing for your project.
Typical turnaround on an aftermarket part is 7-10 business days. Factor in your shipping time to and from the plant, and you’ve got your turnaround.
